num2str() cannot handle strings with spaces

 Description

return value of num2str("a b") is undefined. Return value of num2str("ab") is ""ab""

it's like a little time capsule of people who cared about a tiny num2str() quirk. Reminds me of when I get stuck on a tricky level in a physics game , where one small imbalance throws everything off, and you just need that community fix to move forward.
