1. As you open the document, do you get [1..N]
2. original is 1..N , i.e: NOT nested
3. if you can't re-create unested 1..N
4. sub-index [1..N]1

I made the changes shown in the printout shown
so that the worksheet does not indicate an error.

The size of the matrix does not matter.
What matters is a symmetric matrix.

This project is one of some that don't reconciliate the 0/1 indexing base.
For this particular application, it is immaterial wrt the end use.
Just interesting to be aware. Seemingly, 0 indexing is more universal.

Following the steps indicated in the document;
dna.pdf (181 KiB) downloaded 60 time(s).
which I have downloaded from the reference you indicate,
and with the data shown there, the following
pattern of refraction is opted;

Fourier Quantum_Jean_Original_Values.sm (221 KiB) downloaded 71 time(s).
And I wonder if it will be possible:
get the negative of the image in a native way in Smath Studio?

It's greyscale, I guess 255-DNA should be enough....

Ah! this time, SS 6179 does not open 6884.
The Mathcad 11 0 base index original document produces
the required square symmetric matrix. Smath can do it
only as demonstrated. That the SS/MCD matrices are NOT
exactly same is immaterial. The SS symmetric best imitates MCD.
Why SS 6179 does not open 6884 ? Error message is not inductive.
Presumably, 6884 does not save the image compatible to 6179.
Quantum slit runs in less time for exploring symmetric/asymmetric.
