Angle Operator for Complex Numbers

Angle Operator for Complex Numbers - Requesting angle operator for entering complex numbers in polar form instead of Euler form. Similarly requesting option =to display a complex number in polar form instead of using magnitude and argument functions. - Messages

Posted this feature request several years ago but I'd like to resurrect it.

Would like to see an angle operator to facilitate polar form of complex number entry similar to that Mathcad Prime provides. Would also like to see the addition of a polar form of math results display also similar to Mathcad Prime. While there is a lot to complain about regarding Mathcad Prime, polar input using the angle operator and color form of output formatting are two great features that would greatly improve SMath Studio.

Hi. I didn't check the source code, but Davide developed a plugin ( https://smath.com/en-US/forum/topic/3VAKTD/Set-Operations-Plugin ) where functions beginning with set_abc(x) are displayed as prefixes and functions set_abc(x,y) as infixes.

This concept could perhaps be extended to display functions defined as prefix_f(x) as "f x", postfix_g(x) as "x g", and finally infix_h(x,y) as "x h y".

This would be a more general solution for representing that situation and many others.

Best regards.
Alvaro.
